Flash Flood Warning East Alabama

Water is reportedly in houses in Wedowee in East Alabama’s Randolph County.
Rainfall estimates range from 1.5 inches to over 4 inches across parts of Cleburne, Clay and Randolph Counties.
This has prompted the NWS to issue a flash flood warning for those counties.

At 10:30, the line of thunderstorms across Alabama extended from about Dekalb, Etowah, and Cherokee County in the Northeast…and extending south and southwest along the St. Clair/Calhoun County line, then into Talladega, Coosa, Dallas and Wilcox County.
