No problems this morning across Central Alabama. Temperatures are in the lower 40s across the I-20 corridor.
Across the northern third of the state, temperatures are in the 30s. It is 37F at Gadsden.
The NWS Huntsville maintains a winter weather advisory for their counties.

Don’t know which is the greatest converation subject today–football or snow. But this update is entirely about football. Southern California continues to enjoy sunny weather. The high this afternoon in the Pasadena area will be between 70 and 72. Tonight Alabama plays Texas for the BCS National Championship.

At early afternoon, you can’t find a single cloud anywhere across Alabama. Going east, you would run into clouds just east of I-75, east of Atlanta and Macon.

We are quickly closing in on reaching our average annual rainfall at the Birmingham Airport. The annual average is 53.99 inches.
Sunday morning, the rainfall total stood at 52.35 inches. By 8 p.m., 0.95 inches had fallen, pushing the total to 53.30 inches.

Bama plays at 2:30 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
