At 11:30 am, the line of showers and thunderstorms continues to push eastward at around 30 MPH and is now reaching such places as Oneonta, Birmingham, Hoover, Montevallo, and Selma.
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been cancelled.
Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, and Walker counties were the latest to be removed from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch by NWS Birmingham.
NWS Birmingham has removed Calhoun, Cleburne, Marion, and St. Clair counties from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
At 3:30 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm 7 Miles Southwest Of Belgreen, Or 10 Miles East Of Red Bay, Moving Northeast At 20 Mph. Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
At 511 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the advisory area.

At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving across the area. Localized rainfall of one to two inches has fallen during the past hour…and another inch or so is possible during the next hour.

At 1235 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area (includes the Hoover Met & the SEC Baseball Tournament).
At 211 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms was spreading south across the area. Around an inch of rain has fallen in localized areas…and additional localized amounts of one to two inches is possible during the next hour as the storms move across the area.
