The wind is pushing the magnolia branches around - normally it's protected by the house. The pampas grass plumes are on the ground. Big branches came off the huge hickory in the back yard (it wasn't bothered by Ivan or Katrina). Unusual wind direction and speed. This is only the beginning of what will arrive later. I know the dewpoints are supposed to be around 55 or higher to support severe thunderstorms...so I was wondering about them being so low.
