Here at Bluff Creek on Warrior River (Walker/Jefferson county line NW of Birmingport)…3″ hail ended about 30 min ago. Tree debris everywhere…hail still covering the ground in areas. Largest hail I’ve ever seen. Hail just started again.
New severe thunderstorm watch til 1 a.m. for: Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston. These counties were already in the old watch. The new counties include Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes and Perry.
