Rain and Storms Moving Through Birmingham

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are currently moving into the Birmingham metropolitan area. Lightning will be picking up within the next few minutes as the line of storms move across the area. Currently, there are no watches or warnings in effect for anywhere in Alabama. A few school systems have cancelled activities and will close early.
