New Tornado Watch Until 10 PM CDT for MS, TN, and AR

A tornado watch has just been issued until 10 PM CDT for the northern two-thirds of Mississippi, eight counties in southwestern Tennessee (Chester, Decatur, Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Henderson, Madison, McNairy), and just two counties in Arkansas (Lee and Phillips). Main threats in this watch area will be from damaging hail (up to tennis ball size), damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH, and a few possible strong tornadoes. If you have friends or relatives in these areas, please give them a call and be sure they know of the situation.
