A Tornado Warning has been issued until 12:30 AM CDT for northeastern Russell County. A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is located just to the northwest of the Russell County Sports Complex and just south of Smiths. Storm is moving to the east at 50 MPH. Locations in the path of this storm are listed below. If you are in the path of this storm, seek shelter immediately.

* UNTIL 1230 AM CDT

* AT 1157 PM CDT…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
TORNADO WAS LOCATED 7 MILES NORTHWEST OF RUSSELL COUNTY SPORTS
COMPLEX…OR 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SMITHS…MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.

HAZARD…TORNADO.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
DAMAGE TO ROOFS…WINDOWS…AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE
DAMAGE IS LIKELY.
