Skies are mostly clear to partly cloudy across much of the area, with a better concentration of broken clouds mostly in the southern half of the state. No rain is showing up on radar, and should remain that way throughout the day.

Temperatures across the state were already well in the 70s, and will be headed into the 80s for afternoon highs. Here are observations from a few select cities in Alabama:

TODAY & TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies and warm temperature will persist throughout the rest of the daytime hours, with afternoon highs reaching the low to mid 80s. There may be a few fair weather cumulus clouds floating overhead, but no risk of rain. Overnight lows will be near 60.

TUESDAY: Weather across the state will almost be a carbon copy of today, but there will be some very active weather out to the west. We will enjoy another warm and dry day, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
