A frontal boundary continues to slide south through the state, and behind it, drier air is sliding in thanks to an area of high pressure. This high pressure will be the main feature impacting our weather the rest of the weekend and into much of next week.

The clouds from this morning, have given way to more sunshine. With the sunshine, temperatures have been able to climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s for most locations this afternoon.

The sky will clear tonight and with the drier air, we are in store for a very nice night. Temperatures will settle down into the mid and upper 50s for most of Central Alabama by tomorrow morning and we can see that on the forecast model output below for 7AM tomorrow morning.

MIDNIGHT SKY SHOW: Tonight, the full Moon gets together with Mars and Saturn to form a bright triangle in the constellation Scorpius. The beautiful midnight encounter is visible around the world, and happens just one week before Mars makes its closest approach to Earth in more than a decade.

SUNNY SUNDAY: A very nice day tomorrow, with ample sunshine and nice temperatures. After starting the day in the 50s, we will see upper 70s and lower 80s. Humidity levels will remain low and overall it will be very comfortable day of weather.
