Slowly Clearing Counties from the Watch

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been canceled for Chilton, Clay, Greene, Hale, Perry, Randolph and Sumter Counties.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continued for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Pike, Russell and Tallapoosa Counties til 9:00 PM CDT.

Our line of severe storms now extends from Gilberttown in Choctaw County to Sweetwater to south of Selma to Prattville to Rockford and Alex City.

Winds of 60 mph and one inch are accompanying the stronger storms. Winds gusted to 59 mph at Selma.

23 reports of wind damage so far this afternoon across North and Central Alabama. Three hail reports.
