The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Russell County in southeastern Alabama…
Barbour County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 900 PM CST

* At 555 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Columbus, Phenix City, Eufaula, Clio, Hurtsboro, Clayton,
Louisville, Texasville, Ladonia, White Oak, Uchee, Osco, Doster,
Barbour County Public Lake Dam, Spring Hill, Lakepoint Resort State
Park, Tyler Crossroads, Gaino, Boot Hill and Comer.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.
