Record Highs Set In Central Alabama Today

Friday was a really warm day for mid-January in Central Alabama, so warm that record highs were either set or tied.

Birmingham’s high for Friday was 78F, breaking the old record of 77F set back in 1932.

Montgomery’s high was 81F, breaking the old record of 79F set back in 1907.

Anniston’s high was 75F, tying the record set back in 1995.
