Tornado warning has expired for Marengo County, as the rotation has weakened considerably.

SOUTHEASTERN MARENGO COUNTY…

At 605 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Magnolia, or 11 miles southeast of Linden, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include…
Linden, Uniontown, Thomaston, Dayton, Dixons Mill, Magnolia,
Surginer, Wayne, Consul, Miller, Freddie Jones Field, Octagon,
Calvary and Clayhill.
