Tornado Warning Continues for Parts of Lee County Until 9:15 AM

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM CST FOR
NORTHWESTERN LEE COUNTY…

At 905 AM CST, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located along a
line extending from 6 miles northeast of Jacksons’ Gap to near
Auburn, moving east at 30 mph.

There is a second tornado warning as well for Lee County.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include…
Auburn, Notasulga, Waverly, Loachapoka and Roxana.


…The tornado warning for SE Tallapoosa County has been canceled.


At 852 AM CST, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located along a
line extending from near Jacksons’ Gap to near Tuskegee National
Forest, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

At 843 AM CST, tornado producing storms were located along a line
extending from near Alexander City to near Notasulga, moving east at
30 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

At 834 AM CST, tornado producing storms were located along a line
extending from near Alexander City to near Notasulga, moving east at
30 mph.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
