Watches Have Been Issued To Our West

Two tornado watches to our west already this afternoon.

The first is for southern Mississippi and southeastern Louisiana until 9 p.m.

There are storms over southeastern Louisiana that are expected to increase this evening as they spread northeastward.

The second is for extreme southeastern Oklahoma, northeastern Texas, northwestern Louisiana and southwestern Arkansas.

There is moderate chance of tornadoes and damaging winds and a high risk of large hail in this watch.

Thunderstorms have developed across the western part of this watch area and they will spread northeastward this evening and overnight. There is also a tornado watch for parts of the Florida Panhandle until 6 p.m. CST for the line of storms we experienced this morning.
