Tornado Warning Continues For Parts Of Lee County Until 215 PM CST

At 154 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
     was located over Auburn, moving northeast at 25 mph.

     HAZARD…Tornado.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
     IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
     shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
     to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
     likely.

Locations impacted include…
     Auburn, Opelika, Auburn University, Robert G. Pitts Airport and
     Chewacla State Park.

At 132 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bald Rock, or
near Moody, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Leeds, Vincent, Vandiver and Sterrett.

…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTY IS CANCELLED…

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A tornado watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for Alabama.

At 124 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Leeds, moving
east at 55 mph. This has a history of producing high winds and wind
damage.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Trussville, Leeds, Moody, Chelsea, Center Point, Vincent, Mount
Laurel, Vandiver, Lake Purdy, Barber Motorsports Park, Greystone,
Brook Highland, Alton, Shops Of Grand River, Fowler Lake, Highland
Lakes, Meadowbrook, Oak Mountain State Park, Shoal Creek and Grants
Mill Road Bridge.

At 110 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cahaba
Heights, or over Mountain Brook, moving east at 55 mph. Small hail
is also expected with this storm.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Pelham, Mountain Brook,
