Areal Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Cullman, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, And Morgan Counties

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued an Areal Flood Warning for:

Limestone County in north central Alabama…
Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Morgan County in north central Alabama…

* Until 830 PM CST

* At 534 PM CST, reports from emergency managers, trained weather
spotters, and the general public confirmed flooding occurring at
many locations in the warning area. Doppler radar and ground truth
reports indicate that most of the warning area has received
between two and four inches of rain since Midnight.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warning area, and this will continue to result in flooding on roads
and in low lying areas normally more prone to impacts from
persistent moderate rainfall.
