| February 24, 2017 @ 9:19 pm

Showers over West Central Alabama and East Central Mississippi are trying to become storms.

Base reflectivity on left showing what is reaching surface, composite reflectivity on the right showing what is aloft. Good indication of building storms.

They extend from Marion through Lamar and into Lowndes County, Mississippi.

The cells northeast of Columbus are moving into Lamar County between Vernon and Millport. Those are close to producing lightning.

This activity will move across Lamar County and into Fayette County. It will pass generally between Fayette and Winfield in about an hour.
