Strong Storms Moving Into Jackson County

At 946 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Huntland, or 17 miles southwest of Winchester, moving east at 50 mph. Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Therefore, a Significant weather Advisory has been issued for northern Jackson County until 10:30PM.

Locations impacted include…
Bridgeport, South Pittsburg, Stevenson, Skyline, Anderson, Hytop, Orme, Jericho, Larkin and Francisco.
