Strong Winds Affecting Tuscaloosa, Pickens, Marengo, Perry, Greene, Hale, & Bibb Counties

At 341 PM CDT, a pressure feature associated with a line of rain showers was producing wind gusts around 30-40 MPH. The movement of this activity was northeast at 45 mph. Winds in excess of 30-40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Therefore NWS Birmingham has issued a Significant Weather Advisory until 4:45PM for Tuscaloosa, Eastern Pickens, Marengo, Western Perry, Eastern Greene, Hale, and Southwestern Bibb counties.

Tuscaloosa, Northport, Demopolis, Eutaw, Greensboro, Linden, Uniontown, Gordo, Reform, Holt, Jefferson, Moundville, Brookwood, Coaling, Coker, Forkland, Thomaston, Akron, Sweet Water and Union.
