It was a crisp, cool morning across North and Central Alabama. Skies were generally clear, with just a few patches of high clouds trying to work down into extreme North Alabama to no avail.

Lows from the major reporting stations included:

40F at Anniston, Evergreen and Greenville
41F at Decatur and Haleyville
42F at Montgomery
43F at Auburn and Tuscaloosa
44F at Calera, Muscle Shoals and Maxwell AFB
45F at Huntsville and Birmingham
46F at Dothan
48F at Mobile
49F at Brookely Field (Mobile)

Other morning lows included
31F at Russellville
33F at the Cullman Ag Station
34F at Fort Payne and Valley Head
36F at Courtland, Crossville and Muscle Shoals.
