Strong Storm Affecting Madison County

At 312 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Harvest, or 10 miles west of Meridianville, moving northeast at 10 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Therefore the NWS Huntsville has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for Northwestern Madison County until 3:45PM.

Locations impacted include: Northern Huntsville, Meridianville, Moores Mill, Hazel Green, Harvest, Elkwood, Toney and Fisk.

Strong gusty winds will be capable of knocking down small tree limbs along with other small unsecured items. Seek safe shelter until this storm has passed.
