Severe Thunderstorm Watch is Canceled for Alabama

The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled for all Alabama counties.

UPDATE 648 PM
The NWS Huntsville has canceled the watch for Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence and Limestone Counties in North Alabama.

They have extended the watch until 10 p.m. for Cullman, Madison and Morgan Counties.

Birmingham continues the watch for Marengo, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Jefferson, Lamar, Fayette, Walker, Marion, Winston, and Blount until 9 p.m.

The NWS has added Blount, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Sumter and Tuscaloosa Counties to the watch as of 5:00 p.m.

The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Northwest and North Central Alabama until 9 p.m.

North Alabama Counties include Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison and Morgan.

Central Alabama Counties include Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Walker and Winston.
