Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Parts Of Cullman And Morgan Counties Until 6:00PM

Broad rotation is indicated on radar and confirmed on the storm approaching Cullman and South Vinemont.

Severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect.

Damaging winds, hail to 1.5 inches, winds to 70 mph, heavy rain and frequent lightning will accompany this storm. It will move on toward Baileyton and Holly Pond.

* Until 600 PM CDT

* At 530 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sardis, or 13 miles north of Arley, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
