Tornado Warning Canceled For Parts Of Bullock County

…THE TORNADO WARNING FOR EASTERN BULLOCK COUNTY IS     CANCELLED…     The storm which prompted this warning has weakened below severe     limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.     Therefore this warning has been cancelled.     However, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for southern     Bullock County from a different storm.

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN BULLOCK COUNTY… At 1146 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles east of Linwood, or 14 miles south of Union Springs, moving northeast at 35 mph.

     HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
     IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Midway, Pickett and Perote.

    Southeastern Bullock County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 1230 PM CDT

* At 1140 AM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Linwood, or 12 miles northeast of Troy, moving northeast at 35 mph.
    HAZARD…Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.
    SOURCE…Emergency Management confirmed tornado.
    IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

    Midway, Pickett, Perote and Three Notch.
