Canceled for the following counties: Autauga, Chilton, Dallas, Etowah, St. Clair.

The NWS in Huntsville has canceled the watch for Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties. The NWS in Birmingham has canceled it for Fayette, Greene, Hale, Marion, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston Counties.

The watch continues for Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Cullman, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Limestone, Marengo, Marion, Morgan, Perry, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston and Winston till 7:00 PM CDT.

A new tornado watch has been issued for parts of East Central and Northeast Alabama:

Central Alabama counties in the new watch include: Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Elmore, Etowah, Randolph, St. Clair, Talladega and Tallapoosa.

North Alabama counties in the new watch include: Franklin, Lincoln, Moore [TN] and DeKalb, Jackson, Madison and Marshall [AL].

The watch continues for Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston and Winston till 7:00 PM CDT.

The watch continues for Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone and Morgan Counties until 7 p..m.

The watch has been canceled for Lamar, Pickens and Sumter Counties.

Central Alabama counties still in the watch include Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.

North Alabama counties include: Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone and Morgan.

A new watch will be issued for parts of eastern Alabama shortly.

The SPC has issued a tornado watch for much of Northwest, Central and Southwest Alabama.

It will be in effect until 7 p.m. CDT.
