Areal Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Autauga And Lowndes Counties Until 1:30PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
    Autauga County in Alabama…
    Lowndes County in south central Alabama…

* Until 130 PM CDT

* At 1026 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was developing to the south of the area and will be spreading northward across the warned area during the next one to two hours. This rain will be falling on areas still saturated from previous rainfall and where some small creeks and streams are still receding. This will prolong flooding in the area for the next two to three hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Prattville, Millbrook, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Deatsville, Autaugaville, White Hall, Gordonville, Billingsley, Lowndesboro, Benton, Booth, Vida Junction, Beechwood, Autauga
    County Airport, Mulberry, Marbury, Lowndes County Airport and
    Logan.
