Areal Flood Warning Expired For Parts Of Dekalb And Marshall Counties

     …THE FLOOD WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 245 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN
     MARSHALL AND DEKALB COUNTIES…
     The heavy rain has mostly ended, and additional flooding is not
     expected. A few area creeks and streams are rising slowly and should
     crest in the next hour or two. Do not drive through any flooded
     roads. Additional rain showers today may cause minor, isolated
     flooding but widespread flooding is no longer expected.

As of 1237 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicates that the heaviest rainfall has ended over the warned area. However, due to lingering flooding and creeks still rising, will continue the Flood Warning at this time. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Albertville, Fort Payne, Boaz, Guntersville, Rainsville, Little River Canyon National Preserve, Henagar, Collinsville, Crossville and Sylvania.
