Flash Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Jefferson And Shelby Counties Until 4:15PM

The red shows 2-3 inches of rainfall that fell in around one hour.

Flooding has been reported in the area around Central Elementary in Vestavia and at Vestavia Park Apartments.

Please heed the adage: TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!!!

I picked up 2.17 inches off Acton Road, which was not in the heaviest rain area. An amazing 26.70 inches at my house since May 8.
