Areal Flood Advisory Until 6:30 PM for Parts of Tuscaloosa, Greene, Hale Counties

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued an Areal Flood Advisory until 6:30 PM for South-central Tuscaloosa, East-central Greene, and Northern Hale counties. At 3:31 PM, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include Moundville, Akron, Wedgeworth, Evansville, Maxwell, Moundville Airport, Phipps, Eutaw Municipal Airport, Hagler, Hull, Mound State Park, Duncanville, Pearson, Elliots Creek, Harper Hill, Wateroak and Havana.
