Strong Storms Affecting Parts of Cullman And Morgan Counties

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN CULLMAN AND SOUTHWESTERN MORGAN COUNTIES UNTIL 3:00 PM CDT…

At 2:22 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sardis, or 13 miles southwest of Hartselle, moving east at 10 mph. Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Cullman, Hartselle, Falkville, Sardis, Baldwin, Vinemont, West Point, Battleground, Lacon and Jones Chapel.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
