…THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR SOUTHERN RANDOLPH…NORTHERN CHAMBERS AND CLAY COUNTIES… At 837 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding in Roanoke, Lineville, and Ashland. Several areas have received three to five inches of rain in a fairly short period of time. Flash flooding is already occurring and has become very dangerous. Refrain from travel in this area unless it is absolutely necessary. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Roanoke, Lineville, Ashland, Wedowee, Lake Wedowee, Stroud, Wadley, Red Level, Malone, Post Oak Forks, Barfield, Amity Park, Abanda, Standing Rock, Welch, Fredonia, Veasey Creek Park, Crystal Lake, Sparkling Springs and Dickert.
