The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
    Northern Madison County in north central Alabama…
    Northern Limestone County in north central Alabama…

* Until 100 AM CDT Saturday

* At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing prolonged heavy rain from the Elk River in Limestone County, east to Highway 53 in northwestern Madison County. With all of these storms moving east, expect several hours of heavy rainfall over already flood-impacted areas. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Redstone
    Arsenal, Hazel Green, Ardmore, Harvest and Tanner.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
