Enhanced Snowfall Moving Over Bibb, Perry, Shelby, & Chilton Counties

| January 16, 2018 @ 5:38 pm

Snowfall is really starting to become enhanced over the eastern portions of Bibb and Perry counties and is about to move into southern Shelby and northern Chilton counties. Visibilities could become reduced due to the heavier snowfall. Quicker accumulations could occur on roadways and overpasses and could lead to more travel issues.

Snowfall enhancement is also showing up in the southwestern parts of Tuscaloosa County and into southern Pickens and northern Sumter and Greene counties. This heavier snow will affect the cities of Tuscaloosa, Boligee, Eutaw, and Moundville within the next several minutes. Just like what I mentioned above, visibilities could drop and issues could occur quicker.

It’s time to be in your place where you plan on staying for the night. Road conditions continue to deteriorate and accidents are occurring. Be safe and be smart.
