Strong Storm in Shelby County

An intense storm has developed in Shelby County northeast of Montevallo. It is between Montevallo and Calera.

Moving northeast, it will pass over the Shelby County Airport and across Shelby County, passing between Chelsea and Columbiana.

It contains lightning and very heavy rain.

Strong stroms have formed over southern Pickens County. They will pass into Tuscaloosa County.

In Mississippi, a strong storm continues near Columbus MS. It wil move northeast into nothern Pickens and southern Lamar Counties in West Alabama. It will pass south of Vernon and toward Fayette. Whether it will remain severe will have to be seen.
