Jason Simpson and I went all the way to Tuscaloosa and back. The next challenge is Demopolis. Eventually, all the way to the Gulf of Mexico!

    Wow….The video cam died, the GPS died, and the motor almost died from lack of oil at the SAME TIME. Sounds like someone tried to sabotage you! Glad you made it back o.k.

    Maybe James can sweet talk the management into a series of “weather on the river” segments every day; say Birmingham to Demopolis/Selma.

    Thank you for taking a break from your great adventure to stop in. I’m certain the whole “we don’t have enough gas to get home” was just an excuse to visit.

    I look forward to your efforts to reach the Gulf of Mexico. Be sure to watch out for pirates ;)

    I would have paid good money to see either Jason or Dr. Tim look directly into the camera and waggle their eyebrows just as the Magnum PI theme ended.
