Death Valley was “only” 102 today, humidity down to 2%. Average high for the date is 115. Expecting highs around 120 well into next week.

El Nino. No point in dreaming about Fall just going to be hot thru Christmas.

I’m here in Phoenix, and I can report it was hot as hell on Friday. It truly felt like I was trapped in an oven. A woman I’m traveling with burned her hand from touching a metal rail at the pool. The current 6AM temp is 89.
