Late Morning Alabama & Regional Update

November 9, 2009, 11:46 am | J.B. Elliott | Flooding, Tropical

Probably the best news was the downgrade of Hurricane Ida to a tropical storm. Still can be a lot of foul weather with a tropical storm.

At 11:45 am, radar showed showers as far north as the Montgomery area. Closer to the coast, heavy showers had spread inland into South Baldwin County and also into NW Florida in the Pensacola, Destin area. Heavy rain will reach Mobile soon.

Spreading north steadily.

A Tropical Storm Warning continues all along the North Gulf Coast from Mississippi into NW Florida.
