November a Photo Phinish?
It’s going to be tough for November to compare to September and October when it comes to rainfall. The monthly rainfall at the Birmingham International Airport stands at 4.81 inches which makes this November the 27th wettest on record.
Rain will occur on Monday, so we can see that number go up. If we should see three-quarters of an inch in the bucket, November, 2009, would move up to about 18th place. An inch of rain would move the total up only two more places to 16th.
Interesting to note that when you look at the rainfall for September, October, and November (so far), there has been just over 23 inches of rain for that period. That’s about 42 percent of our annual total in only three months.
