Here is a peek at the radar late this morning…

The rain will be gone by noon for most of the I-20 corridor. Not sure about getting much sun this afternoon; clouds are hanging tough back to the Mississippi River. The sky will become clear tonight, and tomorrow will be dry. Then, a big rain event Wednesday with potential for strong/severe storms over Southeast Alabama, and heavy rain statewide.

And, following the Wednesday rain, then comes the coldest air so far this season Thursday and Friday. And, just for fun, the 12Z GFS tries to spin up a wave on the Arctic front down in the Gulf Friday. What does it all mean? I will have full details and a fresh Weather Xtreme video on here by 3:30. Gotta make a quick run up to Attalla to speak at Stowers Hill Intermediate School now!
