* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
EASTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTY IN CENTRAL ALABAMA…
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF ODENVILLE…
NORTHERN CALHOUN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA…
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF PIEDMONT…
CHEROKEE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST ALABAMA…
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF…CENTRE…CEDAR BLUFF…
SOUTHEASTERN ETOWAH COUNTY IN NORTHEAST ALABAMA…
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF…RAINBOW CITY…MARKTON…HOKES
BLUFF…GADSDEN…

* UNTIL 545 PM CST

* AT 454 PM CST…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETECTED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM 6 MILES SOUTH OF ASHVILLE TO RIVERSIDE

..AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
RAGLAND…OHATCHEE…GADSDEN MALL…GLENCOE…ANDERSON…
SLACKLAND…TENNALA…MOSHAT…WEISS LAKE AND GAYLESVILLE

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS DETECTED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN
THIS STORM. WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY…A TORNADO MAY STILL
DEVELOP. IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED…ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IN A STURDY STRUCTURE…SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR
ROOM.

    FYI…the Storm Prediction Center just issued a Public Severe Weather Outlook at 5:04 for the state of AL and MS…

    having technical difficulties…but the wind has picked up and is shifting…thunder in the distance and rain is just pouring down…got the warning and im prepared…thx again
