Hey Bill: Have a pretty good idea at 9:45 P.M.EST where the warm front is located, probably close to the AL/GA state line. Latest observation Anniston 64degrees, Dobbins AFB still at 43degrees guess I’ll be up a while. I’m a night owl anyway.

Wayne….hey! I kept missing you last week. Did you get any snow Sat morning? I slept late so I missed whatever fell.

Tonight’s storm system bears watching, it seems to be stronger than usual. The wedge is still clamping down on us here in N GA.

Hey Rory: Missed catching up with you the other night. As far as the snow out here off West Sandtown Rd. we had 5*****flakes of snow, of course like you it was after 8:30am before I got up. I just walked the dog for the last time tonight and it’s still cold out. I know you saw my post above I fully agree we need to keep a watch on what’s going on. As I mentioned I’ll be up for a while and see what happens. Good to hear from you again. Late summer and fall everybody seemed to disappear off this blog. Everyone comes out during the winter.
Will watch the weather and as an “old” Beatles fan maybe put the headphones on while watching the weather a listen to a few John Lennon tunes. He was shot to death 29 years ago tonight.

  6. Rory In Atlanta Says:

Like many others, I learned of Lennon’s assasination from Howard Cosell during Monday Night Football. What a horrible jolt that was.

With all the action this post has been pushed back to older pages so you’ll probably never read this, anyway that night I went to bed early and didn’t know about it until I read it the papers. And as an old rocker I do a pretty decent impression of him if I do say so myself. Ouch, I just hurt my shoulder patting myself on the back!!!
