Several counties under flash flood warnings at this hour (outlined in green).
The warnings are overlaid on top of rainfall estimates from the NWS Birmingham Doppler.
It shows a long swatch of 3 to 4 inch amounts from Lamar through Fayette, Walker, Marion and Winston Counties northeast into Morgan County.

Huntsville reports…
…downtown Hartselle is “closed” as well as parts of highway 31…with many side streets flooded
…reports of people stuck in their vehicles and in at least one residence in the City of Huntsville.
…Aldridge Creek in Southeast Huntsville is showing above flood stage on gauge.
