We are here in Pell City. The winds are crazy at times, had to bring in the santa and his sleigh and some of the trees and lights. The gusts are what makes it so scary. Stay safe all

  2. Andy Says:

We live in Wellington and the tree’s in our front yard are about to snap!

  3. Virginia Says:

Temp in Prescott is around 66, gusty winds and rain. Thanks, weather team, for keeping us up to date!

  5. Kimberly Says:

We live in Gadsden and the winds are scary here. No tornado but a ton of wind.. lets hope this passes us by with no harm to the house or us.

Tornado Watch Cullman, DeKalb, and Marshall Counties till 6 a.m. It’s really windy, raining hard, lots of lightning right now.

    James/Bill…
Listening to Gadsden spotters and heard a damage report (unconfirmed) of a roof blown off a house on tabor cutoff rd in Gadsden. This would be up the mountain on close to lookout mountain pkwy. Listening for updates.

  9. Aonthemtn Says:

power in and out on Noccalula mtn. due to wind. We’re comforted by the absence of lightning. Praying hard that the rotating storm fizzles out.

Going to have fun retrieving the christmas decorations from the woods and street in the am

  11. lynnd currently in Chattanooga Says:

Jim. yeah, if you can find them! It has been in the mid 40′s for most of the day here but has pushed into the mid to upper 50′s here in Chatt.now. High winds. Just heard something land on our roof, shook the house – a large limb, hopefully nothing more.

  12. Fran Says:

    James,
Can you tell me if the weather radio system is still down in Calhoun County? There is no streaming weather on our weather radios that I have. And what channel can I get you on the radio when the power is out?
