J.B. Copied this from the earlier topice so you hopefully you get my big thank you. As always a big thanks for the great info and your ability to keep teaching people about this science on a daily basis. After all these years I keep learning starting with watching weather reports on WHAS and WAVE in Louisville as grade school kid. Then the weather phone in the ’60′s provided by the then Evansville, In. Weather Bureau plus a lady named Marcia Yockey on TV in Evansvile. Then watching it from varied locations through my adult years until now. Will keep watching-Again a big Thanks.

Zero snow here in Pigeon Forge, but cold. We could see snow on the mountains but most roads in the park are closed.

Dave don’t know if you’ll come back on but my Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law live in Greeneville Tn. they still have 6″ of snow on the ground.

    Hello J.B.,

Holy Smokes! You know me, I wish I was right was up at Mt.LeConte snuggled in a snow cave with a roaring camp fire just outside from my sleeping location. When those clouds up there clear it should be chilly willy! Maybe a -15 degree night or colder. Good to see the increasing snow cover over the lower 48. Do I sense a Weather by the Number’s. I guess I shall wait and see.

    Take Care,
    Matt Padgett
