Alabama Late Tuesday Night

Showers and thunderstorms continue over a good part of Alabama late tonight, including some locally heavy rain.

At 10:45 pm, the heavier rain was over Tuscaloosa and Jefferson County southward to Chilton County and into SE Alabama.. Widespread rain indicated from the Montgomery area east to Columbus, Ga.

Most of the lightning was in the Tuscaloosa-Montgomery areas. Thunder could be heard in NE Trussville.

Everything moving generally eastward.
