Alex looking like no threat to US Gulf Coast

It has gotten stronger today, and may become a hurricane over the SW Gulf next week, but the models have come into agreement now that the heat ridge over the northern Gulf will keep Alex from coming north toward Louisiana or the oil spill recovery. Good news.
