Some Road Reports…

These reports are not all inclusive or verified…but are indicative of problems that are occurring across Central Alabama. If you do not have to travel this morning, please stay put.

…I-59 almost impassable between around the Deerfoot Parkway Exit in Trussville

…Most Trussville roads are open, but first hand experience indicates that South Chalkville Road was shut down just south of Downtown Trussville. Trussville Police reported North Chalkville Road between Trussville-Clay and Green Drive is closed.

…I-20 in Leeds: so bad that people are out of their cars hanging out in groups

…I-459 and I-65 interchange very icy. At least one accident.

…Liberty Park overpass on 459 very icy. Earlier wreck on I-59 northbound at I-459. I-459 icy on bridges, multiple wrecks.

…Numerous accidents on I-65 in Pelham and Alabaster.

…Patton Road and Shades Crest Road icy, Hoover asking for sand truck.

…AL 25 closed between Dunnavant and Leeds.

…Walker County AL 269…2 cars off road due to ice

…BUT 31 between Bluff Park and Homewood reported to be ok.

…Ice on roads in Talladega and Oxford.
