Hail Falling in Jasper

| March 26, 2011 @ 8:00 pm | 2 Replies

Hail is now falling in Jasper as they get into the hail core of the storm moving in from the northwest.

We want our friends between Townley and Jasper to be in safe places now.

It will eventually affect Cordova, Dora and Sumiton.

Large hail is likely falling along Corridor X. It could be 1.75 inches…

NOTE: NWS advises the Jasper storm has an “extreme” updraft. The difference between the inbound and outbound velocities is 95 knots. It could be a large tornado!

This is an extremely dangerous storm!
